Emma is a lens based artist, creating narrative and conceptual portraiture, still life, photo-as-object and assemblage handmade books. She explores femininity, identity, relationships, and trauma. She is interested in the body, the home, and the land– as sites of allure, and exploitation.
Emma achieved her Bachelor's of Fine Art from The University of New Mexico. Her work has been exhibited in New York City, Beijing, China, Paris, France, SITE Santa Fe, Colorado Photographic Arts Center, Salina Art Center, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, University of New Mexico, and Arizona State University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Art in photography at Parsons The New School.
